A husband and father first, I am also blessed with the responsibility of being Director of the Redwood Gospel Mission men's programs and recently appointed as Alternate Rep for the SCRCC. I also sit on the Sonoma County Advisory Board for Alcohol and Other Services.
With my gorgeous wife Dawn, we've raised/are raising 3 sweet, lovely and talented daughters. Both of us work in the recovery field, helping drug addicts and alcoholics overcome their addictions, abuse and other life issues. We've also been blessed to be active in the Autism support community, having learned that Autism is, indeed, treatable.

Feeding, clothing and housing the homeless in Santa Rosa CA has been such an incredible privelige. I have been entrusted with overseeing the Redwood Gospel Mission's care for the homeless community and with our New Life Recovery Program, a long-term, 40 bed Christ centered 12 Step treatment program for drug and alcohol abuse. Our success rate has been phenomenal. Seeing lives and families restored in our community has been a very fulfilling calling.

A life-long musician/vocalist, music is another passion of mine. Currently involved in several music projects (see my music page for more info) and a grateful worship leader at the Redwood Gospel Mission, at two local Celebrate Recovery meetings and at church.

I enjoy attending Santa Rosa City Council Meetings as well as Sonoma County Supervisor meetings. I believe that without adequate accountability, politics and politicians tend to go awry. I believe we all have a responsibility to stay involved, to get to know our local leaders and to hold our public servants accountable for the decisions they are making on our behalf as our elected representatives.

As grateful as our forefathers for the ways that He has blessed me in my life, to be raised in the Land of the Free and specifically Sonoma County, in the words of Luther Burbank "God's chosen placeĀ in all the world, as far as nature is concerned." I am now driven to give back to the community of which I am privileged to be a life-long member. My life has become largely about ministry to others and I'm grateful for every God-given gift and opportunity to help others overcome the wounds inflicted through abusive childhoods, broken relationships and shattered lives as a result of substance abuse, neglect, molestation and abandonment.
